Das Khaman House is a landmark in Ahmedabad. In the train to Ahmedabad, at least 5 locals recommended this place. This was the first place to go in Ahmedabad for us. We ordered different khamans but what stole the show was - Sev Khamani. You would have ate the fluffy and cute Khaman cubes everywhere. but this place crushes the Khaman and does some magic with this crushed "Khamani". The thin "Sev" adds to the beauty as well as the taste of the dish. A fresh green chutney is also served with this. Sev Khamani is moist, soft, little tangy and little sweet all-together. It's so flavorful that this post can't even describe. We even went there next day to have another one!
P.S. - Catch their Undhiyu too if you are there around winters.
