The Drunken Botanist (TDB) is famous for its beautiful interior and delectable fusions in its food. Lebanese platters have been my love since years. And this unique take by TDB was quite delicious. The essential member of Lebanese platter is Humms - a thick dip made of mashed chickpeas blended with lemon juice, garlic and tahini. But here at TDB, three unique hummus dips welcomed us - wine soaked beetroot hummus, rum pineapple barbecue hummus and vodka apple hummus. All three hummus were quite different than regular ones but we liked beetroot one the most. The hummus were complemented with Falafel - a fried patty of chickpeas and spices. There were small cute pita breads and pickled vegetables. All in all, it was a great Mezze platter to munch.
P.S. - Their Tres Leche is also quite good.
